A warm salad of smoked quail, pear, parsnip, watercress and hazelnuts in a honey and whisky dressing

Whole roasted porterhouse, béarnaise sauce, hand cut chips
Rib eye of local rare breed pork, cabbage, caraway and apple soubise
Snapper baked in paper with lemon, wine and herbs

Yoghurt parfait with fruit compote and sesame tulle

As scary as it sounds Stones has already received a number of Christmas function enquiries for later this year. As a result we felt it was worth letting you know that we have some fantastic function packages available for companies wishing to hold their Christmas function with us this year.

INTRODUCING THE STABLES AT
STONES OF THE YARRA VALLEY
Anyone who has ventured over to the Stones Chapel will have noticed a historic red-brick building that to date has lay somewhat in a state of disrepair. Originally built in the 1860's, the Stables at Stones are in the process of being restored and converted into a stunning and very intimate daytime venue for up to 60 guests.
Vintage fittings,
rough-sewn timbers and century-old brickwork, the Stables at Stones are destined to become one of the Yarra Valley's iconic heritage venues and a wonderful addition to Stones of the Yarra Valley.
All going to plan, we're hoping to open the Stable's rustic doors at the end of this year, and bookings are now open for those wishing to secure a daytime function or intimate
wedding from 2011.
