“Dear the incredible wedding team at the Stables!
We wanted to say a few thankyou's for everyone who contributed to our special day. Starting with Astra - Thank you so much for all your organisation, communication and guidance leading up to and on the day of our wedding. You gave us so much comfort and confidence that everything was going to be looked after and perfect and WOW, was it ever! It was the most perfect day, and Harry and I are still in total awe about how seamless everything came together (or appeared to on the surface which is why we're so grateful to you). To the coordinators, they kept us on track to make sure nothing out of our special day, were VERY patient with us when we were not 100% on time, ensured nothing was missed and looked after our every need. We were looked after so well and we're so grateful for all they did for us. A special shout out - We think her name was Lucy. During photos my veil flew off into the wind. Before I could even comprehend what had happened, Lucy eloquently placed the tray she had in her hands on the floor and SPRINTED after it to safely retrieve it. What a legend! Thank you again! (I really hope I got her name right so the right person can be thanked). We were all so stunned by how fast she was! And to the chefs and front of house team- Just wow!
Even weeks later we are having people contact us to tell us how they're still dreaming about that food. I feel particularly horrible that I didn't have the stomach to polish off my plate. That was some of the best food we've ever had in our lives. We had guests roaming to other tables just to steal their desserts. We are just so grateful. We had a lot of guests with dietary requirements which we know can be painful for a kitchen and everyone said how looked after and full they all felt. Your dishes are simply phenomenal and we're so wrapped that we will be able to come back to enjoy your delicious food in the future. People kept boasting about how good the wine was too! Whilst we're glad we didn't have a hangover the next day, we're bummed we couldn't try them all - we'll save that for future trips as well! We've thanked Teesh separately but to keep it short, the florals we're absolutely on point, exactly to brief and could not have been anymore perfect for what we wanted. Teesh's dedication and joy in what she does definitely shows. Overall, a massive thank you to anyone else involved. The day was just perfect and we know it takes a team to make that happen. We've also included a few photos of the fantastic food and plating 😊
